Prescription Medication:
None.
Ongoing Therapy:
Speech therapy 1x/wk
Outcome:
Robert is a very creative child. He is naturally gifted in drawing. He appears to be well behaved and mild mannered in my presence. We began a custom nutrition program, which included Robert cutting back on dairy products due to his allergy to it. As part of his regimen he took Omega 3, B complex, and a trace mineral supplement. Robert said he noticed he felt happier while being on the whole food supplements.
After the 1st session of neurofeedback Robert reported that he slept better. At session 7 his mom reported that the teachers have noticed a difference in his behavior. They reported that Robert asks more relevant and interesting questions and his handwriting had improved. At session 8 he said he felt more confident and it was easier to make friends. His mom said Robert doesn’t complain as much and he can work through problems without getting frustrated. “When he gets home he has his snack and goes straight to his room to do his homework,” his mom said in amazement. She initially reported that getting Robert to do his homework was a chore for her in itself.
Robert continued to show favorable progress within the 10 sessions of neurofeedback. He will continue for 5 more sessions and then come in as needed.
